Gaining Additional Points for Australian Skilled Migration:

If you are applying for a Skilled Nominated visa you require 65 points but you will be granted 5 nominated points by selecting a nominated visa subclass so you obtain the 65 points upon lodgment of “Expression of Interest”. Once the State Nomination has approved the points will be confirmed and an invitation will be issued by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection.

There are several ways to gain additional points to add to your points score.
